Well I started my day as most of us do, at least to a degree. It’s Saturday morning I finished breakfast pancakes and sausage, effective and extremely tasty. I’ve always worked extremely hard for everything I’ve done and that’s why I felt was important enough for me to write about. The question that was posted by what would appear to be some executive membership from the current Presidents administration.
The White House wants to know: What are the most important issues for small businesses when it comes to health care?
CEA Report: The Economic Effects of Health Care Reform on Small Businesses and Their Employees
The Council of Economic Advisers in the White House has just released a new report on the impact health insurance reform would have on small businesses. Download and look through the report, then give the White House your feedback, comments, questions, or objections. CEA Chair Christina Romer will answer some of the most penetrating responses, as chosen by LinkedIn, in a live video online discussion at WhiteHouse.gov on Wednesday, July 29th, at 3:00 PM EDT.
I want to know: “What are your experiences with health care as somebody involved in small business, and what are your thoughts and questions on the new CEA report in light of those experiences?”
Clarification added 8 hours ago: The report can be downloaded at the link below: http://learn.linkedin.com/CEA-smallbusiness-july24.pdf
N ow I don’t expect to be getting any air-time or press, it’s not my intention. The goal of my comment is to clearly send a single message from one very concerned citizen. I like most Americans are extremely frustrated with the current administrations political agendas which are being “force-fed” and pushed upon us,
Her most United States citizens unaware that the current burn rate of capital is creating for all of usa degree of indentured servitude, are we truly so unaware of the larger magnitude and impacts the decisions are being made for us that we don’t care, I suggest people do care. Did you know with the depth of the debt that is being placed upon U.S. that our children’s great-grandchildren will be paying for this debt, long after we are all gone.
Now let’s be clear. I’m excited about the potential’s of the United States of America, however, I am extremely displeased with the lack of real vision that the current administration is working through, why is it that the executive, legislative branches of the government would rather “kick-the-can” down the road instead of really addressing how to solve the real problem with the economy.
Below is my comment got posted on www.linkedin.com, look forward to your thoughts and comments, although I know most who comment and generally negatively will be from those who have counter views, which is fine.
Greetings and thank you for this timely question in a forum that is probably as open as I’ve ever seen in history, and although I’m sure the intent is as genuine as possible from any executive branch administration. I hesitantly will reply to your inquiry
As a small size business owner faces many challenges, generally all mandated by other federal obscure entities.
My request is “don’t tread on me”.
I find myself as a small but business owner, extremely concerned with not specifically healthcare, but the Goliath known as the United States Federal Government which will now be dipping even deeper into my pocket to take, earned profits.
My request is “don’t tread on me”.
I would rather you just simply thank me and walk away for doing my part in assisting to stabilize an existing lease shaky economy, but instead I see this question asking how the federal government can help me. I suggest my previous request above, the carried out in full without hesitation or pause.
My request is “don’t tread on me”.
Instead I would rather the federal government focus on national defense and the running of their newly acquired assets and manage them to successful completion protecting to jump into yet another industry vertical. Don’t you think it would be nice to get the money already invested in the automobile and financial services industries, before yet again asking the United States taxpayers and small businesses to carry even a heavier burden of debt?
My request is “don’t tread on me”.
I’m both shocked and saddened by this country’s strategy and direction, I believe it’s misguided unwanted and marching into a socialist society.
My request is “don’t tread on me”.
Respectfully, I have placed five requests in this message and if any one of them were achieved I small-business owner would be very grateful, thank you and God bless
The purpose for this post is to ensure that it is on the record, although my comments will be narrowly viewed by a singular social network, although great in size and intellectual matter. Those outside business communities should have an opportunity to think through holistic way, what the current administration has sincerely proposing. Now let’s be clear, fair and just I do not think that any one person would make a comment about a need for healthcare, but we do live in a free society where everyone chooses and has a choice. My only hope and wish is that you will choose to make a choice on the future of your own children’s grandchildren.

Barack Obama’s nomination of Sonia Sotomayor for the Supreme Court is a disaster for average Americans. For one thing, if she’s confirmed, there’s every indication she’ll be a big promoter of the radical gay agenda on the court. She’s replacing David Souter, a lifelong bachelor and recluse who lived with his mother when he was appointed. President Bush Sr. assured us that the unknown Souter was a real conservative, but he turned into one of the biggest champions of gay rights on the court. Likewise, Sotomayor was briefly married thirty years ago, had no children, and has never remarried. She’s certainly not going to be a friend of the traditional family, to put it mildly.
For an extended period of time I have been working with the IBM Content manager product and it has provided value. Citi has adopted it as one of the “Standard” solutions for the organization world-wide. One of the major challanges that all products have is a ObR (Object by Reference) access, meaning that images are stored on a file location and the database provides a reference ID that allows the image to be located and retrieved for business process action. The problem with this approach is that images on the reference location sometimes come-up missing and that data therefore is lost and will require recovery action to occur. I have long been an advocate of moving from a Object by Reference towards a embedded object approach. That being a image is stored in the database along with the metadata related to the image.
Wow how the times have changed, I listened to the the broadcast of General Motors bankruptcy filing conference meeting on CNBC this morning. GM’s Henderson: His comments were “We want to reward taxpayers with good performance”, I question the ability doing that; has anyone read the UAW’s contract that they “renegotiated”, with this type of negotiations. I want to sign up with the “New” General Motors, I mean. Just listened to some comments that were made on the contract were astonishing. Where in the world can you get a job where you’re late for work six times, I excused and with no reason before eating being considered for any type of reprimand or corrective action.
Okay now as always I have given only one single example of some of the lunacy of the contract, I suggestion you do some of your own research. however my research tells me that we’re in deep trouble with the way unions are ran and supported by the current administration we are buring ourselves too deep in debt. To be clear I stand firmly in favor of a well balanced position between both unions and business, where both business and unions coexist equally equably balanced, not like it is today nor how it was when they started. The current state of the situation is that ALL unions are overpowering the business and will consequently drive the business to failure. Listening to comments are made on CNBC this afternoon with all the bailouts of the automakers, financial services, residential real estate and soon-to-be commercial real estate; every man, woman and child will need to pay more than a half $1 million dolloars to balance the budget. I do not know about you, however that’s a lot of money, and I’m concerned our government is spinning rapidly out of control, or as I like to call it “Government gone Wild”, who will stop this reckless spending
